Learn about Lab Zero's mission, vision, and global reach delivering hands-on STEM, robotics, and AI programs for young people worldwide.
Lab Zero is a mobile STEM lab running hands-on robotics, artificial intelligence, and innovation programs for young people. Our tagline is: Robotics lives in what you already love.
Lab Zero was founded by Imtisaal Mian and Rima Rebei and is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We build our programs around culture, creativity, and confidence, so students explore engineering and computing through practical projects connected to their interests.
We deliver school camps and workshops with school partners, and we run a live online program. Lab Zero has delivered programs in Brazil, Qatar, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, and Toronto, and has reached more than 2,500 students, a cumulative self-reported figure.
The organization includes a Canadian non-profit corporation and a US Delaware C-Corp, which serves as the operating entity.
